• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hey Everyone,
I saw that there is a rule here that everyone that buys a Les Paul must post pictures. As I am a stickler for rules (sometimes) here they are:
My new (for me) 2005 Les Paul Deluxe. Just got it last night, loving it already. This baby is in nice shape, a few swirls here and there but otherwise very nice. I already ordered (as per this forums members) Virtuoso cleaner and polish to make it even better. This guitar plays so nicely, and sounds great. (that's why I bought it) This is my 2nd LP first was a beat up studio that I sold to help finance this one. Price: (are we allowed to mention that?) $1150 I think I got a pretty good deal. Give me some feedback:
Rick

BEAUTIFUL!!! Love the Wine Red and find the mini humbuckers to be fantastic sounding pickups.:yah:hank

Really sharp looking top on that -- and I'll bet it doesn't sound too shabby, either. :dude: :hank

I am kinda the anti-bigsby person around here. You need to axe Mr. Big Al. I believe he has a cereal bowl with one on it. I have one Bigsby equipped guitar. Not a fan as I think they are mucho uglyo.

Collings Soco Mahogany. My only Bigsby. About the size of a Les.

Nice guitar. I love the grain on the top. I'm a sucker for those Kluson tulips.... & that color, normally not my thing, but it works on that guitar. Good score. Well, except the part where you sacrificed your Studio to get it. Maybe it'll come back to you.

A great example.
I would leave the vintage pearloid button tuners. They fit that design very well. They are lighter than Grovers too.
Although GTrover makes those same pearloids if you can find them.

Love it! Great score. Always wanted an LP with mini buckers, myself. I'll bet they kill.
