• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hey all, wel as requested by renderit, here are the images of my 79 Deluxe Les Paul. Well Renderit was actually correct. I am awaiting it's arrival so these are not my images... I am excited to get it in my hands though.

I hope you like them/it.....

Cheers

Rich

Now I could get into one of those. I still have a few sets of those pickups hanging around as well. That is a very nicely preserved hunk'a'history there! You have a weight on that piece?

Thanks guys, I am pretty sure she is 9.5 lbs.... She is in excellent condition for 36 years old this coming May, save the messy routing around the pickups. The back is sunburst also. I prefer the solid colour there but hey, I can't see the back when I am playing it :)

I guess one of the downfalls of living in the most isolated city on the planet is that I don't get to see a lot of stuff I buy in the flesh, however I am assured the neck on this one is excellent as is the sound and obvious condition.

It was interesting to see the thread pop up on the chain saw cases yesterday or the day before. That's one hell of a blue case lol.

Cheers

Rich

I really like the way they put that top together. Gibson left the center section wide so as to catch that interesting grain pattern.

You got looker there. :dude:

A lefty clown burst.

I dig it.

But that one's not so clowney.

Play it like you stole it from some famous 70's musician guy!
