Wolfetone's Amazing Customer Service

Just wanted to give a shout out to Wolfe Macleod over at Wolfetone pickups. I recently bought a set of pickups (Marshaled and Dr. Vintage) from another popular forum and they were dead on arrival. I sent a note to Wolfetone through the website and asked if he could take a look at them. Wolfe contacted me personally and after a few emails back and forth, I express mailed them across the country to get the to him before he left for Christmas vacation. He got them a day later then expected, but still took the time to call me when they arrived. After he checked them out, he found that all four coils were dead (something he'd never seen before and figured was statistically improbable).

He had no reason whatsoever to do this, especially for a second hand purchase, but he didn't want me to lose out and is sending me a new set. He's going to wind them today and get them in the mail before he leaves for vacay. Super nice guy to talk to, and just an amazing gesture of faith in his product. (As I'm typing this, I received my tracking info). Wolfe has gained a customer for life in me today. I'm in awe.

Apologies, it was on mylespaul.com. I'm on both and got it mixed up. I've changed the post and am actually trying to delete it. Still, Wolfe, how cool does a guy have to be to replace a set of second hand pickups?

I've always heard such stories about him, in addition to how he conducts himself on the internet. Good to see another.

He's on the top of my list should I need a replacement or modification / upgrade for this reason: this just reaffirms it.
