• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere.

Anyway, the '60 is on rumbleseatmusic.com and they're asking a cool quarter-million for what they say is a one-owner Burst.
"Johnny B" put a weird upper guard on it to protect wood from his cuff links.

So who is Johnny B?

I guess Johnny B. did ended up hitting it big, then. Big enough to afford cuff links.

Deep down Louisiana close to New Orleans
Way back up in the woods among the evergreens
There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood
Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode
Who never ever learned to read or write so well
But he could play the guitar just like a ringing a bell

You don't know who Johnny B is?!!:hmm Why, Charley B. sang about him in a famous song... the first line is: "Deep down in Louisiana, close to New Orleans...":dude:

sorry, I don't see Chuck Berry putting no "cuff link guard" on a guitar.
