Who to go to for repairs on vintage Gibson Tarback pickups?

I have a couple vintage Gibson Tarbacks, both of which have become separated from their mounting lugs. I thought about attempting to solder the mounting lugs, which are simply a metal bar running across the bottom with the lugs on either side, to the cover. But I'm hesitant to do so, since they are worth some bit of money. They are the later versions with the clear epoxy on the back.

Lol. Yeah, I've seen the similar said when I intitially investigated them after I got a '78 SG/Les Paul Custom loaded with three of them.

Already tried that one. It didn't hold long at all.

I did it to one more than 30 years ago, so unfortunately I don´t remember what kind of glue I used. But for me it worked fine, untill I sold the guitar several years after gluing the pu. So assuming that you cleaned both the bracket and the bottom of the pu before gluing, my guess is that you used the wrong kind of glue.

Thing with tarbacks, never disturb them. Any time you handle them it's a crapshoot. Sometimes just disturbing the pickup rings is enough to break them.
