• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

So I'm toying with the idea of fitting a bigsby to my les paul standard Goldtop. I was just browsing the bigsby website.

the kalamazoo range has many different model tailpieces. Any idea which ones are suitable for a les paul retrofit?

Just from looking at them I'm thinking the B7. ??

Think - sergio Vallin signature model - esq..

Thoughts...

I put a B7, USA made in the white box not Korea in the red box, on my R7 with a Vibramate and a spoiler. It fit perfectly and looked great. I have a photo somewhere I'll put up when I get to that computer.

I had it on for a while but I just didn't like the weight it added. I removed it, no holes, no problem. They only other thing I would have done when I was installing it would be to have the rocker bridge like Elliot Easton put on his Tikibird to handle the string movement due to the arm pulling.

Edit:
Here is the photo of my R7 with the B7 (I didn't have the spoiler on for this photo)

Vibramate spoiler is a great invention, non intrusive solution for restring the guitar with Bigsby.
