• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

What to hell do you think this is??

Looks more 355 than 345, but who knows? Very odd headstock overlay.

Many parts of that guitar look to be produced by gibson, but that headstock is not gibson.

Looking closely it looks like there is a 'seam' on the headstock almost where a 'stinger' would be. Perhaps this was a snapped headstock situation where the headstock was completely replaced.

The checking, finish, binding work, etc do not appear 'japanese', and look authentic for a gibson built instrument.
