• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

01' don't have burstbuckers in them. Only 02' authentic R8 have them.

Your guitar will have 57' PAFs in it.

01's authentics had them too

According to Gobson CS the 01 authentics have Burstbuckers. I believe these were the first US LP's to have them.

I heard that all historic 02's will also have them (not confirmed).

I beleive the Gary Moore model was the first Gibson to have the burstbuckers.
