• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

What are you driving these days?

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s days in the early 1970s as Aerosmith’s first roadie is one of the lesser-known phases of his lengthy life.

The same old things! The 1997 Miata (one of 47 built that year with the factory race package) that I bought in 1998 and my daily driver 2006 Scion xB "toaster". I really enjoy these cars.

I put moon discs on the xB a couple of years ago

2014 Electra Glide Ultra Limited. My daily driver. I've put just over 9K miles on her since we bought it in February.

I also have a 2007 Escape for days when I need more than one passenger seat. I've only put 2K miles on the Escape in the last 2.5 years.

Well, that old van proved to be too difficult to deal with, so I settled for my first motorcycle, a Kettenrad. :spabout

Subaru Forester.

I'm on my second one.

Folks think I'm a hippy.

Or a lesbian.

Who carjacks a hippy lesbian car?

Nobody.

And I'm getting 30mpg.

In town.

You ARE AWARE that thing in the middle of the console is a SPEEDOMETER and not a MILEAGE PER GALLON INDICATOR right?

Let's see. Subaru.

My '67 SS Chevelle. Bought it in '78 right after I started at Gibson.
Still has the original 396. Still drive it.

OMG! I haven't seen a normal fucking pickup truck in YEARS! NICE! :salude

Yeah, the Express package was listed on the official RAM website and yet many dealers I called when I was looking for one actually argued with me that no such model existed. Then it was even a bigger challenge to find one without the 1800 dollar power option (windows, seats, mirrors, etc) The lots were all full of 4-door 4WD behemoths.
