I recently dropped some new P90 pups in my 60s Goldtop. The neck is nice and strong but the bridge is pretty weak. I don't think I got as great a solder connection as I could've. Could this affect the output? I feel like I cut the lead a little short and sort of buggered up the end. I'm half-tempted to contact the mfgr to ask what it would cost to send it back for a new lead so I can have a mulligan.

What P90s did you buy? Gibson uses the same pickups for bridge and neck, which causes the bridge to be weak and thin while the neck is boomy.
If you bring the bass side of the neck as low as possible, while bring up the bridge and stagger the pole pieces to the strings, you can balance this somewhat out.

Wolftones. I don't think it's a problem with the pups, to be fair. I'll play around with it some more. Thanks.
