Just wondering if anyone has ever had a String Swing break under the weight of a Les Paul.
I’m not talking it ripping out of the drywall because it was foolishly mounted to that only, but the actual fork part for example.
I just bought one of them for my guitar and the idea of it crashing to the floor has me wondering.
I have the Classic up there now and might want to put up the 50’s Standard and R8 as well. For now the Classic is the Guinea pig as it is the least expensive one.
I’ve had my Strat hanging on a Yorkville branded hanger for months now with no issues but it is a much lighter guitar.
Not too worried about the finish as I will keep a bit of cotton on it to be safe, although I read most people claim these don’t effect the nitro finish.
Any examples?
