you do know that if your 1960 burst is a late 1960 it has the changed red dye that doesn’t fade like the 1958 - early/mid 1960’s.
yes its a late 60, my wild thought is anything could fade, especially in the sun part time for 4 years, my 60 special and 60 junior are faded to a wood color, dont know why, i hung my red terrycloth robe on the line for a week and it turned pink. it was my favorite robe so i just kept wearing it except i think a worker saw me through the window in it one time because when i fired him he called me gay. my wife got a big kick out of it. my 60 was covered in thick dust so i think it was in the back of the store. it still has color for sure, at least we get to see a '64 burst' !

How the hell did you fall for that.

You say that "the 59 burst dude took so much time to divulge a find like this". He didn't. He just wrote one post and all you "wanna believers" were all completely suckered in to believing it was true.

I find it hard to believe how anyone gets duped by scammers, but honestly, some of the guys on here make it real easy for them.

We are up to 5 pages of posts and we still haven't heard from him and we still haven't seen any photos of the guitar and still some people are hanging on to the possibility that this is genuine. Un-fecking-believable.
well...i type with 2 fingers , so... seems like he put a lot into it . only time ive ever typed that much is when i shot a salmon with my 3030 the judge made me write a 1500 word essay reguarding the breeding habits of salmon

I'm ready to give this guitar a coat of looking at when the op develops the smudges.

My pat pending 'Burst authentification headgear is foolproof in these type of acrobatics, ÂŁ500 cash and lunch gets you what you need, in writing if needs be...although that may take a little longer.

Contact me when you're ready, I'll turn out at the drop of the proverbial.

Don't thank me, for the scatter mentioned above, I'm on your side.

I've even got me socks on the right feet, those L & R markings are a bloody godsend, a godsend I tell you.

If you need anymore reference than that, well I just don't know what to say.....
