• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

No didn't get to play the Goldtop. In fairness there were quite a few guitars and amps (including yours I didn't get to try out). I think I was a bit overawed by it all :##

Maybe next time we can get a "jazz" room going, for us quieter lads...:laugh2: :hank

Here are a few more. Technically the Exile Burst pics should probably go in the vintage forum. Anyway here you go. Very big thank you to Simon for his generosity on the day :salude

Here are the few I took....

That awesome '61 Les Paul/SG

Woody doing the business with the Exile Burst

Exile burst nonchalantly leaning against the sofa...

And possibly the coolest my guitar rack has ever looked.... Front to Back: '55 SC Junior, '57 Silver SC Special, '55 SC TV Special, '56 SC TV Special, '59 SC TV Junior, '61 DC Junior!

Thanks everyone (especially Simon for the burst experience) for a fantastic day!

It was a real pleasure to meet you Neil, and thanks for lugging that wonderful TopHat head some considerable distance, quite rightly it became the reference amp of the day.

Take care Pal. :salude

Yes, with all the cool guitars on offer, I should also say that this amp was a real winner on the day. Sounded fantastic regardless of the guitar, and had so much versatility and variety without being a master of none. Really cool indeed.

All these burst pics, why didn't I get a move on and play in time !!! :dang:spabout

That amp did sound really great, yes. I brought my '82 2203 all the way in the car but couldn't find the physical or mental strength to drag it to the lift when I got there. Maybe next time.

I reckon I must be the only one who didn't get my photo taken with that burst, so I've got to come back for the next meet!

Really cool to see the pics/vids of the U.K. LPF'ers rocking out. Lots of drop dead gorgeous guitars in those shots but having that Exile burst at the hang... Epic :headbange

I can't believe you guys didn't get a chance to play it - I was heartbroken for you when you told me that!
We'll have to make sure round 2 happens again soon then eh? :salude

Oh I did briefly get to play it; it sounded beautiful. I just didn't think to get a photo for bragging purposes.

Nice guitars folks. :) Could you please describe a bit the black Customs? One seems like 50s, then there is late 60s one or early Norlin.
