How can an overdrive be transparent? Isn't the whole point of any pedal to change the sound? Maybe jut turn the volume up a little.

To my ear that all sound about the same. I suspect that all were tweaked before recording to achieve that result. All good. Four quality pedals. I have the Timmy and am very happy with it.

A "transparent" overdrive pedal for guitar refers to a pedal that adds overdrive or distortion to your guitar signal while preserving the natural tone and character of your guitar and amp. It doesn't significantly color or alter the core sound, allowing the nuances of your playing and gear to shine through. Essentially, it provides gain and sustain without masking the original tonal qualities, making it feel like a natural extension of your setup.
