Thick cutaway binding...

...I was watching TOTP2 on Saturday and they showed some TOTP (Top of the Pops) footage from 1975, the guitarist in 'Kenny' was playing a goldtop deluxe, that looked to have thick binding in the cutaway.

I thought that thick binding was introduced later. Any thoughts??

Edit - Sorry, this was cleared up in an earlier post by Wilko; seems thick cutaway binding was introduced in '68.....

Yes, all Deluxes from '68/'69 had the thick binding. Customs had the thin binding.
