It's amazing how some great guitars are built and nobody even knows about them. Back in 2013 Fender in Corona Ca. built 50 of these FSR (factory special run) 72' Thinlines and they are absolutely incredible guitars. Built in Corona Fender from time to time builds special run guitars like this and they don't advertise them and they just sent to dealers. This one features killer specs with a 9.5" finger board radius and specially voiced pickups. Everyone of these that I held played and sounded incredible and played good as any master built Thinlines I ever played. Truly one of the best playing and sounding guitars around for the money. I think these fill the gap between the USA Corona built guitars and the custom shop team built guitars and that's cool. A nice 6 pound light Tele with the snarl of a Les Paul. Gotta love that!
