• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

If that second picture isn't Rock 'n Roll, I don't know what is.

Ted has clearly played that burst, adding wear between the older first pics to the more recent pic.

The one in my hands [on the right] was Ted's.
I was buying the Burst Tony Dukes is holding [Marilyn 9 1870].

Tony was traveling with the Nugent tour when I met him at their hotel in Memphis.
We completed the sale that evening [I missed the concert because I drove 6 hours after work].

Next morning I dropped Ted and Tony off at the airport and mnade the drive home [slightly slower :ganz], all the time thinking about that killer Burst in the backseat area of the car! :jim

I know exactly what you mean, Tom.
Happened to me back in 1992 after I picked up my unique Zemaitis guitar
at the airport and stored it on the backseat of my car.
On the way home I always had one eye in the rear mirror watching if anybody is driving to close.

Did Nugent carve his name in his Bursts like he does his Gibson hollow bodied guitars?
