I have 0 pickguards on my Les Pauls.
I just think the bursts (not vintage, recent) look better without it.
If I had an Ebony Standard, I'd likely keep it - it looks better that way -
but I wouldn't put a second one on.

2 pickguards on a Les Paul is a no no in my book . I don't use pickguards on my Les Paul Bursts . On my ebony custom the pickguard is fine .
