• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

What could you do with something like that? You cant refret it or clean it because that crud is what you paid for. 100k is a lot for a wall piece , no pun intended.

It's shiny and new compared to TW59's working Goldtop :spabout :dude:

The bridge was given to Snowy by Peter Green in the mid seventies.. What would Peter be doing with a Les Paul bridge I wonder? Where is it from? :## Hope this doesn't kick off another Greeny debate :hee

Pics from the late 1970s/early 1980s show only little wear on the guitar.
What happened, was it in a flood?

A tremendous amount of "munge" in addition to weather checking...even if you don't care or take precautions to protect against weather checking one would think any pro musician would wipe the sweat and grime off his instrument occasionally just to make it more appealing to play...I am also of the opinion that a clean and well-maintained instrument will be more serviceable and result in fewer on-stage issues than one that has been abused...I recognize the aforementioned opinion may be unpopular with some...
