It’s a little different than the “Mini Kessel” prototypes made just over 10 years ago. I think these all had maple tops and were chambered.

Things to observe about the guitar in the pictures:
Double parallelogram inlays.
Notice the ridge in the top-carve.
Check out the tail piece.

What did the pundits say recently, George Gruhn and Eric Ernest, the early hollowbody double necks being the best sounding guitars of the era, does it live up to that high praise.

Yes, I watched that entire hour-long video. It was fascinating. I would have liked it if the featured guitars were plugged in, but nevertheless, it was a fun video.

I also note that George Gruhn said the Gibson Johnny A is utterly unlike the old spruce-topped EDS guitars, so that’s some info to ponder.
