• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This ones called Molten Gold, a 2000R9 weighs 8lbs 2 oz, huge neck and one of the most resonant R9s I own. PAF in neck. It has some interesting Flame goin on, sort of diffused from one angle and full blown from the other.

Is there any history on the butterscotch finishes? Or are they just custom finishes for reissues?

What do you mean? As a Historic Finnish? Or what it is trying to emulate?

Sorry, I mean in terms of the finish. Were there Butterscotch plaintops in the 50's? That kinda stuff...

I've never heard of that colour but it's certainly one of the nicest Pauls I've ever seen! I notice the aged metal, is that one of Gibson's aged models or have you added new parts?

Will Dyke at Armadillo built the purple 18W cab, I got the amp from Ed A a few years ago, when 18W clones were popular.
The hardware on the guitar is original and had the HCL treatment.

Like Steve posted Honey/ Butterscotch is not a color it is the last step in fading to a lemon drop. The Historic is trying to get that look
