After much reading on this forum, I've discovered that many don't like a Butterscotch finish. Well, I'm here to tell you it's my favorite finish.

Please post a pic of your Butterscotch Lesters... Here are my two. :):):)

That last one looks butterscotch, but the others are more Iced Tea or faded burst. I thought butscotch was all yellow??

I used to lust for a Darkburst, well I guess I still do, :bh
but Butterscotch has become my favorite.

Wow! Beautiful Lesters, all of them! I own a lefty Rossington that the finish is very close to butterscotch. I love this color, very authentic, IMO. Lefty, your guitar is awesome, where did you get it?

Here mine. A Butterscotch LP Custom. Gibson call is Butterscotch but when you see it in person this one looks more like a shade of Honey Burst. Very pretty in fact!

Klatuu, nice top carve.

Thanks, it's one of the most pronounced I've seen on an Historic. Her name is "Pan" for that reason. Deepdish style.

Is there any history on the butterscotch plain or flame top R8's or 9's? There is a plaintop butterscotch on FleaBay that I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on but I'm hoping there is at least some history on this color, if any?

Wow! Some really killer examples. I would like to post my 83 reissue. Can someone tell me how to do this?
