I've owned a lot of "rock" amps- Mesa, Splawn, 3rd Power, PWE, Marshall, Soldano, Peavey, EVH, Bogner, and some I'm sure I've forgotten.

My absolute favorites were a Marshall 1987x and my current Suhr SL67.

Plexis just have a special something going on. SO inspiring to play!

BTW I use a Fryette PS2A power station to be able to get the amp overdriving at a sane volume.

Looks like the bottom amp was in standby. When he swapped amps he shut off the top amp, unplugged the cab, plugged the cab in to the bottom amp, then took it off standby.

All good, though I usually shut the amp off completely juuuuust to be safe!

Hello Friends
It is difficult to appreciate the percussive properties of those amps thru that cab. I wish he said what it was.
Divorce gear.
Nuclear deterrent capability.
Listen to an early 60 Bassman and you can hear the ancestry of these.
I am surprised he sits like that in front of that at 1 o'clock. No feedback either?
My second amp was a Yamaha G100 2-10. When I got my first Marshall it was a 1987x- i wondered how i was going to manage w a 50 watt amp.
Boy was i wrong.
I think Jimmy page used to open up the back of his cabs sometimes for recording.
