R9, R8, & Authentic 8's Taste Test

Wonder how many people have actually played the Authentics. Notice among the Forum members quite a bit of interest in the Authentics. So I tried 2 through a Marshall last week-end at the local historic dealer. Nice, but not worth the upcharge to me.

I also A/B'd 4 R8's. IMO I prefer my 2001 R9's.

I play my Authentic a lot, I really like it. I guess it wouldn't have really mattered to me if it were an Authentic or not, I just liked the guitar. The extra c-note wasn't that bad to swallow.
