• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

R4 Historic Makeover has landed.

Here are some pics of my R4 HM package B.:headbange
Dave does amazing work.
The reshape he did of the neck makes it feel very much like the many vintage GT's I've played.Simply wonderful.
Some details still need to be done.Like aged bone white pickup covers, aged speed knobs and aging of the new looking screws and playing the crap out of it.
Thank you Dave and Kim.:salude

Nice; I've gotten covers from Spencer @ Shed and Gord Miller/Montreaux and have 5 real `50's ones as well.
Dave did a "Package A" for me that I got back in late June! amazing work!

Here's 3 of my Lester's. The Custom in the middle is the only one Dave/Kim haven't done.

The back color is walnut. Not faded cherry.
I took the pick of the back in bright direct sunlight to try and show the checking.

Sean, beautiful guitar! I have an R4 that I would like to have the treatment on. How long of a backlog do they have and how long do they have your guitar?

Love to see a pic of the headstock!
