Dude, that tag is almost 25 years old. Get over it.Oh they're psychics are they? It's obvious that no such inspector ever existed, because the forum members are such experts that they would have recognized inspector SM immediately.
So your point is that nobody owns a guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop made almost 25 years ago? I would not have thought that.Dude, that tag is almost 25 years old. Get over it.
Take a chill pill, dude. You have 18 posts and you behave like my 3 years old niece. This NOT twitter or facebook! So your point is that nobody owns a guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop made in 1997? Pretty sure there are numerous Les Pauls on Reverb right now from 1997, in fact I know for sure there are, like this one right here https://reverb.com/ca/item/17576040...58-reissue-1997-sweet-cherry-lucy-colour-rare Just admit the obvious fact that SM never was an inspector at Gibson Custom Shop USA and, therefore, the Snakepits made by SM can fool Kunkel and everybody on this forum. You know I posted photos of the guitar and not one person here said "I can see an obvious clue that it's fake", because you can't tell visually, the only evidence is the checklist with a fake inspector's initials on it in blue ink.
You just made me smile . Cheers !Maybe your question didn't interest anybody? Maybe....and just maybe, everyone knew you were going to be confrontational? Maybe?
Adios Amigo and don't let the door hit you on the way out 1I thought Gibson reps read this forum but apparently not, and nobody who does read it is helpful, just annoying, so I'm done here, bye.
Okay and you are correct in this lesson in regards to manners and civilities and that's on me as I know better . This gent got under my skin and pushed my buttons and in my attempt to defend our collective I went on the offensive and that was wrong ! I stand corrected !OK,
Now that he is gone...

When irritating a troll it is important not TO BEHAVE LIKE A TROLL.
Gringo, you will get the shrimp cocktails for the next meeting as punishment please.
Pass the Grey Poupon..
My lobster bisque needs a kicker...
Your right and we are always accommodating in helping those out with sincere questions .One thing that was done in the 52-60 forum early on- or should I say NOT done, was certain tells about guitars were never discussed. Some of the CS guitars have been going for some really serious coin. Why not just come on the LPF and ask what's wrong with your forgery (this has been going on in degrees for quite soem time in various intensities)?
OK- and one more thing- i am 57 years old- when I type I almost always manage to hit the g before the n in "ing" words. I am not going to correct it any more- I have lost about 2 hours of my life in an attempt to have prefectly typed posts here. I am now with Todd.
Well, sort of...
No, it's a fake thread, you been got, son.Am not sure if this is real .
Okay, thanks, that's actually helpful. It only took about 50 completely useless posts to get to a useful one. I'll see if I can find this Matt Kohler you speak of. Actually I just searched the name and there's no such member, so much for that route. I'll check the Gibson USA section though. As an aside as you are heading out the door you had to have seen the thread from Matt Kohler from Gibson Product Development ? Matt has been very kind and generous with his time in answering our questions and you should ask him . Also there is another gent that posts on The Gibson USA section who is very kind and generous with his time and as well in answering our questions as well , who spent his career working for Gibson and building guitars .
