I’ve been using the PAF 59 by Dr. Nitro for about a month now, and I’m really impressed. Super open and dynamic, great clarity, and that vintage PAF vibe is definitely there. Cleans up beautifully with the volume knob and just feels right under the fingers. Great pickup.

Cool! Would you be able to compare them to any of the other PAF offerings out there? I have Stephens Design vintage wire pickups in my guitar, but I would love to try those out too.

I have Tom Doyle's True Clone, Monty's, Camelot by Geppetto Guitars, Wizz Premium Clone amd the Dr. Nitro. All of them have a different taste in the PAF recipe. In this day Dr. Nitro is my go to if I needed another set of pickups.

Did you go for the A4 magnets? Are they more stringy or crunchy?

Yes I love A4. I think they read the sound in a clear mode but when you want there's a warm crunch only with a simple move of the pots.
