• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

One last 2013 R9 beauty from the L.O.G.

Yes I did. I got lucky, I was talking to Mark about a consignment and he showed me the pictures.

Love them mineral streaks - they give a guitar so much character

And they prompt staring when I really should be playing... My wife and kids frequently wonder about me.

Woody, with a touch of nasal honk, but not hollow. A little bite in the treble but not ice picky, and maple syrup in the midrange. Plenty of air and did I mention honk?

freaking unbelievable beauty of a guitar but I need a glossary to understand Mark's tone descriptions anyway so "sounds great" would do it for me any day.

Ruffcut when did you buy this guitar, I didn't see it at Marks site? I love it and would have bought it. It looks like a book match top too, there didn't seem to be a lot of real book match tops in 2013, at least the ones I looked at.

MGL customer service...
Hi Joey, Here are the details on that guitar and a picture of the back. Also another straight on shot of the front that represents the closest
to how it looks inside color wise (gloss Sunrise Teaburst). Guitar weighs 8 lbs 14 ounces, neck measures: 1st fret - .909”, 12th fret - .994”,
Custom Buckers read: bridge – 8.18K, neck – 7.69K. Gorgeous guitar and it sounds great also! Just had a chance to sit down and play it
some.
