Official Gibson Identifying Marks on Authentics

Besides the dulled finish and hardware any other identifying marks? Serial no's etc?

None that I can see. Maybe on the chip on the inside, but who has a scanner to check? :lolspin

Dave what I was thinking was that they were maybe marked in the control cavity R8A for Authentic or something ? is this the case or not?? Have you noticed?
