Nice assortment of Slowhand shots..almost every pic with a different guitar. .I like the one (deep inside) of him with that wacko 70's SG with the offset Melody Maker pickups (SG1? SG2?)...never saw him with that! OR that double neck either...

That Firebird i think is all over Creams last record. And it sounds so f-cking great.
It seams to have less sustain that the Custom Lp and Summers Lp but instead it snarls like a rabbid dog in Claptons hand and really is freaking awseome.

Anybody know what happended to it ?
And are the new Furebird 5 USA modell any good?

Thanks for those cool pics.....Why-Oh-Why did Clapton abandon that great huge Marshall/Gibson sound for that weenie guitar sound.

Fantastic pics; no one in rock history has been more of a chameleon than Clapton. He looks like a completely different person, especially during several periods from the Cream era.

It's the 335 on the Goodbye album. Especially on Badge.

Listen to Sitting on top of the world. Its definitely the Firebird. And some ther tracks also my memory eludes me now. There is probably some different guitars there. but Sitting on top of the world is definitely the Bird.
