• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

After long wait its finally here..

I was nervous buying a guitar I had not seen or played but I knew this run was going to be great.

lightweight, very resonant and plays amazing. Feels a lot like the Bloomfield LP. The top colour is best I have seen on a Gibson LP.

I am new. So forgive me.
This has got to be the cream of the crop for a Les Paul.
My question is the only common thing a Les Paul has (generally speaking) is a mahogany body...give or take about 1 1/2 inches.a maple cap that started as a 1/2 inch plank...and a humbucking pickup that is a Seth Lover spec...or slightly hotter. there is of course the general shape of the whole thing. But that is it.
LP are so varied that no one can make an argument that if a 2 foot plank about 8' wide and 2 " deep...with an average PAF...were to have a neck etc. attached it.
It may not be an LP...but it would sound exactly like one. Even if only one.
Am I right?

Very, very nice. Congratulations.:salude

How does it sound? Mine is on the bright side. Not thin, just a little brighter than my '95 R8. I discovered I have to turn the treble down on my amp a bit to get the sound I like.

It's bright guitar for sure, not sure how yours is set up but it plays very slinky.. must be the stoptail raised slightly. Got gig Friday so I can hear it a proper volume.

Thing about this LP I love is the weight, its light and feels chunky
