• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

These are wonderful guitars, they seem better made than former Memphis reissues. Only thing that i notice, that they still have steeper neck angle in comparison to vintage ones. Congrats!

What are the measurements.
I've not looked at neck angles so it'd be good to know, and I wonder if CS varies from M2M and USA production guitars.

Sorry, I have no way to measure the angle. The action is pretty low and I still have some room to adjust, about the same as my '55 and CC18.
As far as I know a M2M and/or ML is a custom ordered CS guitar, an extension of the CS line with special options (top, color, neckshape, wiring, pu's, inlays, etc.) so I don't think there is much difference other than the options.
This was exactly the guitar I was looking for so no need to go down the M2M path.

Got the answer if you're interested from Mat at CS(in his thread) and he explains that 'neck angle' is individual to each ES guitar.
So I expect that vintage ones were the same back in the day with variations.
