• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Just a lucky find on a really great guitar.

This one was hand picked from factory for Gibson Road Show.

Wow! She's a beaut! More pictures?

A TH? Some of the neck and back would be appreciated!

Will post some tonight. I really like the darker red backs on these True Historics

Yes, I am struggling with that right now though on one I want to get built. I can't decide if I want the "new TH red" or the old "bright red". If I ever get the factory to respond you may eventually see why I struggled with it.

That red is what I want! Excellent. It is not too dark but is not the almost too light on some I have.

Anyone considering a True Historic but on the fence with your decision, price aside (I understand the frustration with this) these are very special instruments. I've owned many nice guitars, many Historics over the years, but this one stands out...way out. The playability is remarkable and inspiring as is the rich deep tone. Tonal balance is perfect, dynamic and touch sensitivity superb.

I can't help but gush about these guitars.

Price aside...best Les Paul's from Gibson since...well, you know
