Been on the hunt for a 50s GT for while and last Friday it all came together.

It's a 56 and this baby has been PLAYED.. dings dents and checking all over the place, a real player!

So hyped, had gig with it last night and it great fun

You can see the seem is off centre at the top and its checked all the way along from back of guitar to selector switch, look in the pic you can see the line

I thought so. Saw it on "vintage and rare" the other day and it looked like one hell of an instrument. So you did everything right, I guess. :dude:

There are some serious instruments floating around in Scandinavia: Bought me a great '57 Goldtop from Finland the other day.
