• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Anyone got the "How Blue Can You Get " album from G.M yet?
The inlay page on the vinyl shows "Greeny" in a les distressed state that i have seen.
i take it , it is the proper guitar but an early picture and not a replica?

Whatever it is, its not Greeny. Maybe its a Collector's Choice model, a Historic with different knobs and the neck pup flip-flopped, or a replica. I'm pretty certain that all CC's came with a pickguard installed so it rules that out, the inlays appear to be pre-2003 Historic inlays, but its hard to tell for certain. Something about the body shape looks a little off, so I'm leaning towards it being a replica.

I did! I got it on the day the album was released. If I'm not mistaken, it was late April this year. I was stunned by all those unreleased songs, and to be honest, I didn't understand why he decided to keep them away from us. He definitely was my idol, and I can't believe it's been ten years since this icon has passed away. By the way, I was looking through these charts for music the other day, and to my surprise, Gary Moore's last album was featured in it. He's not between us anymore, but his work will stay with us forever, and we will cherish this God eternally.

That's a Gibson Custom Shop artist proof of collector's choice number 1 that Gary owned. It's not Peter Green's burst.

That's exactly what I was thinking @madformac . (y)

Glad I saw this Thread. I didn't know that there was a new release? Bought it off iTunes today and listening to it now. Typical GM stuff; EN FUEGO!!!!
