My Labors the Nick Gravenites record?

Dude, just buy it. It's probably my favorite electric blues record of all time. You will not be dissapointed, I promise!!!

Yeah, that is an amazing record. It's haunting, really. If you are going for Bloomfield. Live Adventures is another good one.

As a matter of fact....On the new Monterey DVD, there is one song from the Electric Flag. Mike is absolutely on fire with the 'burst he just bought from Dan E. and a BF Twin with D120s. He isn't miked either. Just cranked up! Slayer wishes they had gainier lead tone. :lol

I wish I had a DVD burner I could get that song on the Internet. The DV is $70. I mean it has Hendrix and janis and everybody, but it's kind of expensive for just the Bloomfield.

No, If you find it shoot me a private email. I'd like to watch that on a daily basis. Pulling the DVD is too painful.

There's a live electric flag CD out to that has some great tones on it. It goes by several different names, one is "Groovin' is Easy". There are some great Bloomfield cuts on several Barry Goldberg CD's as well.

Also, the Best of Electric Flag has the two live Monterey songs on it and 14 other great EF tracks. That's a great CD for $12!

There's 3 different best of the EF. But the one with 14 songs is the best one, especially "going down slow".

I believe the live tracks at the end are the Twin. Not sure about the rest of the record. Acoustic 150??

It sounds like a twin reverb but he also used a big solid state Acoustic amp like Albert King's back then too. On the double live adventures LP you can here the difference between the two. The acoustic sounds pretty good but is not quite as sweet sounding. My Labors is a great CD for sure. You should keep your peepers on ebay for the vinyl version if you really want a treat.
