My Corsa Manalishi wraptail is ready!!

Larry Corsa at Corsa guitars built me a custom spec chambered wraptail Manalishi model weighing in at 6 pounds, 14 oz. -- with one piece maple top, custom ordered Throbak pickups with vintage magnets w NOS wire, Mojoaxe TP, Retrospec inlays and some NOS DMC ....Thanks Larry !! It will be in my hands in a few days!

back when Larry was tuning up Faded(s) I talked with him about getting the PG sound from a Les Paul.

he always struck me as good people, and very knowledgeable to boot.

I'd love to hear some clips when you get it.

this is a bit weird, i'm planning a NGD thread about my own most recent aquisition, and you saved me the trouble of posting pics.
I love Larrys work, i've got one of his early Faded models, and i know how great they sound- his work has evolved massively.
I wont derail your thread , I'm just trying to get some good pics sorted, but lets just say-they could be twins.
Its pretty hard to get good pics of blacktops, but keep em peeled.
I look forward to seeing more of yours when its in hand.

This is mine, sorry for the confusion, its not a Corsa, its not even a Gibson,
but it is a Doppelganger - dont you think?

I didn't want to derail your thread, just wanted to avoid any mis-understanding.

I'll explain all in another (the other non Gibson ) thread, just hope you'll be as happy with yours ,as I am with mine.

and i know from experience what a good guy Larry is, BIG fan of his work.

REALLY hard to get good pics of this kind of thing, they dont do any justice.

I finally played the Corsa Manalishi thru the Top Hat amp-- rings like a bell & sustains for days! I dunno what pots he uses but they have an amazing useful taper... -- oddly it's tricky to get used to the light weight! I love it... next gotta try the Vox AC15C2
