• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Many thanks, ahah, the Marshall was in the studio but i've used my Twin tweed.
The only Marshall i still own is a '73 2040 combo, a beauty but too heavy for my back. :)

Around here, that's what they call "a good conversion candidate"!

All kidding aside, awesome sounding guitar and very tasty playing. Thanks for sharing.

Tell me a bit more about the amp. Is it a vintage Twin or one of the new reissues? What speakers? Did you use a pedal?

Bravissimo Max, veramente un solo ben suonato, molto fluido e con delle scelte armoniche per niente scontate!
Mi piace un sacco anche il suono, molto aggressivo in un contesto jazz ma perfetto per questo pezzo!

Thanks a lot guys, glad you like my playing and guitar..! :) This forum is why ten years ago i've bought this instrument.

Barbarossa, the "conversion candidate" :laugh2: is plugged in a MXR il Torino OD and the amp is an early Twin '57 reissue, Weber Speakers. Reverb is an old RV2 Boss.

Surfreak, visto che hai scritto in Italiano, ti rispondo in lingua madre. :) Molto azzeccata la tua descrizione!
Grazie mille..!

Very cool! How would you compare your LP to your 345?

Many thanks slimdave, with both guitars i feel at home, recently i prefer P90 for OD tone and Humbucker for clean tone, so i carry both guitars at gigs. The 345 is more open and airy, the '52 is clear cut with a great sustain. :)
