I have a Rivera amp. Great sound. Very versatile. When it was working.

Unfortunately, like a few other amps I have, it just went silent and now resides in the bring it to an amp guy corner. Anybody know a good amp guy?

I've enjoyed the models Paul displays at Norm's, although I am not sure I'd enjoy the price with shipping!

I loved the clean tone of the 80's Super Champ that I had. I put a JBL K-110 in it.
That solo was very cool, I wish the old S-C lead channel had sounded like that haha.

I likes the fact he was playing a Plain Top LP. Proving once again that flame does not make tone.

I also had 2 Rivera era Concerts. And again, loved the clean channel. The lead channel not so much.
I have 4 of the Rivera era Fender's. Champ 2, Super Champ, Princeton Rev 2, and Deluxe Rev 2. The Super Champ has a great, very musical overdrive. The others are nowhere near as musical in the drive channel, but all are absolutely stellar in their clean tones and worth the price of admission. The Champ 2 has no drive channel but has a MV. The weak link in all of them is the crappy stock (Pyle?) speaker. The Champ 2 and Super Champ must be used through an extension cab to really appreciate their capabilities. I replaced the others which have 12" speakers with Jensen C12 N's which sound great. They all use 6V6 tubes and run at about 20w.

Another huge Rivera-era fan here! I've owned all of them except the Deluxe Reverb II. And my favorites are the Champ II and Super Champ, especially connected to a 1x12 or 2x10 or 2x12 speaker cab!!

Never owned or desired the reissued Fender Custom DR modded by Paul Rivera. Way too expensive, even though its probably a great 'Swiss Army Knife' studio rig.
