• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

That's pretty cool.

You gonna go all the way and put a LPC fretboard on there?

Probably not as I really love the neck on this one. I'll probably put some Grovers on pretty soon.Glad you like the guitar. I'd love to know where the original is ?

fretboard? it needs a 70's custom neck - but only in case the original one breaks :)
You should definitely get a gold plated tailpiece and Grovers, though.

I think you nailed the color of the top. Very cool.

edit: you were faster :)

Love the Morc Bolan style comforter and pillow too! Does the guitar play as dreamy as it looks?

I've got a HH IC 100 S which I got from the guy in T.Rextasy, stick a booster on that and you're there:)Ill check out this Shatterbox thanks

Great! That sure will nail the sounds from Slider onwards.
The Shatterbox is the Hornby Skewes Zonk II fuzz and Treble Booster in one box. Some people believe it's the most horrible fuzz ever built. It sounds just like the brown album :peace2

Very cool. I have considered the Bolan orange for a clone that I'm having done, but haven't decided for sure yet. Thanks for posting.

Bolan is a top wrapper too!
Is Bolans guitar actually finished orange or is that a mahogany top and clear or no finish? I know it SHOULD be maple but hey, it's Gibson!

Nice work!

Really the only other color I'd consider other than the Ebony I have now.

Yeah, that threw me early on, especially with the LPC neck he had on there later. I'm pretty sure it's a refinned burst, but obviously there are folks here who know a bit more than me.
