• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Sorry...I can post it over the SB Pub if you'd like TW. Kinda of 'after the fact' now though. Gryphon w/o a doubt is a high end shop. I have been going there for years. Lately, it seems they are real digging for the gold w/ the prices they ask for some pieces. Recently, they had a Gibson mandolin on their list for $179k!. Apparently, someone's got the green...cause it gone now.

FWIW, I've noticed a LOT of 68's for sale lately whereas over the past couple of years they've been quite scarce - and they've definitely dropped in price. People were paying $20k+ earlier this year for good clean examples and I know of one that sold for $40k.
