Hello everyone, bought a 1974 20th anniversary yesterday, all original except switch tip and tone knobs, first owner , studio and life musician in the 70ies and 80ies. Yes the diamond logo has seen like 10.000 cigarettes. Now that I do not find too much info on this. For what I know or was teached so far:
sandwich body( mahagony/maple/mahagony ?),
3 Piece neck (maple right?)
The frets are really low, unplayable for me - devalue when refretting and taking of the nibs?
He bought it with a chainsaw Gibson Case / brown interior
Serial nr is in the 399xxx range
Pots 1377435 , so that´s correct too, of course it has got the inlay 20th anniversary
Is the paint nitro or not?
Best replacement bridge (maybe aged) because the stringpressure did it´s thing ....
It has really been played as you can see
Thanks for your help
Mick

I own one of those. Cool guitars. Refret won't hurt the value and will make it playable. Congratulations!
