• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Wow. That was awesome! JD is such an inspiring, joyful musician. And what a treat to see Tommy E. on an electric guitar.

I was curious how Tommy was gonna be able to match JD's volume based on most of the video until the solo hit and I realized that he was playing a cranked Twin. Im sure most of the people there experienced a bit of ringing in their ears afterwards lol.

This was really great in all respects.

As JB was reflecting on the other day, Korina V's have a real different voice. They're bright like an SG but with some more depth at different, more honky frequencies. I love mine ('83)...and as always, thanks to lpnv59 for that one.

Thanks for the vid.

Great tune, players and performance.

First time seeing TE play an electric...one badass old dude.

He's just a couple of years older than yours truly, so I can say that!

Oh , Dear Lord, I really don't know where to start!... What superhuman energy, on every level... Like two prongs of a tuning fork...AND a song that helped inspire, and define a (my) generation....... YIKES! Great vocals too..........I'll bet everyone who witnessed that performance, live, is now a changed person....INCREDIBLE!... My humble , humble, thanks for posting. (I'll also bet it was weeks before the "high" returned to earth). :salude. Play on everyone.

That's the best rendition I've heard. The V makes it all the more better. Great singing. Energy for sure.

What a great version!
The Tone & playing is great indeed but I think what really went over the top for me is the energy and the singing!
