Now I need help getting back. All I know is it's a reissue, goldtop, p-90s. It's was used at guitar center for just under $2000. It sounded INCREDABLE!!!! Can anyone tell me what model it is. Also seeing as guitar center usually overprices how much are they going for used? Also I like the thicker neck( turns out my studio has the same neck as the classic).

Yes, that's over-priced. A new one would only cost you an extra c-note or two. $1500-$1700 like the above post.

I'm in the same boat, my friend, except I'm lusting after the R7 Goldtop. (See my other babbling posts...beware of drool).

I'm currently selling alot of stuff, but my wife says it'll never happen. One day I'll prove her wrong, God love her...

I've got the Historic Bug now. Just got my '57 Goldtop reissue. Got rid of my Gibson USA flametop tobacco burst Standard in order to get it. God, my goldtop really sings. I don't think I'll play a production line Les Paul anymore. I'm lusting for a 57 Black Beauy reissue now....broke, need to sell my other guitars to get it. Damn G.A.S. !!!!!!!!

If you can wait any longer and save up enough $$$$ go for the Custom Shop Historic Stuff. You'll love it. I'm bummed now because I wasted enough money dinking around with production line instruments. My .02 cents.

Only 20 weeks huh ? Don't worry. The average shelf life of any guitar at gc is 20 years

I swear, one of the highlights of this year's trip to Arlington will be finally seeing one of the infamous GCs and their hilarious prices. Even I know that's a ridiculous price for a *used* P90 GT in the States, who are they kidding?

Sean,

As you probably know there is a Guitar Center on the same street as I recall as the Days Inn.

It's north from the motel and maybe a couple miles.
