I was listening to PAF varients

on the Olemy website, and it's interesting that I liked the low wind '57 varient most, and the PG set which was the highest wind next best.
My Duncan Antiquities are in the same 8.3 range as his '59 (A2) bridge and his PG neck pickups. I like the sound of my guitar as is, but if I was in the market, the 57s would get my money.

I had a couple of sets of real PAFs in the 80s, the sound of the O'L 57s is very close, big Tele-ish, clear.

The Antiquities in one of my guitars can be made to sound indistinguishable (to my ears) to a virginal '58 PAF in another.
