How to increase high frequency at Gibson Studio LP?

Hello everybody,
Is there a way to increase the high frequency for my Gibson Studio?
I understand that I can do using the amp, but wanted to do it on the guitar.
I am not talking about the highs of the Strat but still what the Studio offers in this respect is not enough for me.

Gibson Burst Bucker Pro pickups. You'll be riding your tone controls down.

Bob

Depends on which Studio model and year. The current Studio already has BB-Pros!
-- Session has 57/57+
-- Modern 490/498 [typical of older ones too]

Can I do it with the Studio tone controls?
Can I disconnect part of the humbucker?

2014 should have the 490/498 stock. However, things might have changed, so check things out.

I assume you've tried the 2 tone controls...?

Before changing pickups, try "dialing things in" by methodically lowering/raising the pickups in the surround (pickup ring) and-or adjusting the individual pole pieces under each string.

There's a lot of combinations from those adjustments, but will take time and patience.

If you need to switch pickups, your Studio should have "Quick Connect" QC pickup attached to PCB-mounted electronics in the cavity. This presents either a problem or opportunity. You either need to find pickups with leads that come with the QC connectors [I don't think BBPros currently for sale as new do have them], or purchase 3rd party QC adapters for the pickups you want to put in and wire them correctly. Also understand if you have / need / want 2-conductor or 4-conductor [which come with the Push-Pull controls - does your Studio do Push/Pull?]. The ceramic set 496R/500T does come with the QC, they add more highs but also more agressive power and sustain.

An alternative to that approach would be gutting the entire wiring harness for a traditional electronics package.

So think things through...

I read in Kamimoto's guitar repair book (I think it was) that to get more treble lower the bass side of the pickup. YMMV
Sure, I guess that either way would work. I normally adjust pickup heights to taste on a lot of my guitars.

pickups are fine. CHeck the value of the volume pots. They could be 300k. If so, change to 500k to raise the resonant peak of the signal.

FWIW: Changing individual pots on the Gibson PCB not for the faint of heart.

Raise the pickup height at the high E side?
Do you mean the pickup closer to the bridge side or to the frets side?
There 3 screws on each side on the plastic part where the pickups are installed. I thought that you can adjust the height by using only the middle screws but it turned out that all the screw should be adjusted. Which screws are more "effective" in raising/lowering the pickups?
The pickup close to the frets is even skewed.

I have those controls but to me they don't change anything. How actually should they (Push-Pull controls) work?
