Hi guys, i am new here.
Chris from Switzerland, 41 and i love the LPs.
don't know if there is a Introduction Thread or so, but will gladly do, if i get a bit more time.
Well, i got my freshly ordered Gibson Package at the Door earlier this Week.
And yes, its a Gibson Les Paul. been looking for some time now for a Goldtop and found this model for a reasonable price.
Looks mint-ish, unplayed and in perfect shape.
No fact sheet or any other Infos came with it, except that its a 2003 Goldtop.
Now i tried to identify the specs but i have my troubles. i found out that it must be a 59 reissue with the brazilian mahogany according to this page here:
1959 Reissue, ranging from 93001-93674
-93001-93006 are prototypes
-93008 has 2002 specs
-3 are korina Flying Vs
So, is this the R9 version?
Who can help me identify the exact model?
(i changed the original truss rod cover wich was a without any inscription or logo)

Handy Gibson Guitars Brazilian Rosewood Guide
Back in the 1950s, if you bought a brand new Les Paul Standard your guitar would have been equipped with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The original specification of many Gibson guitars back the day called for the Brazilian species of Rosewood; it was considered ideal for guitar making...
