• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

This photo is brilliant, how did you set-up the lighting so the colour and detail come through so well?

Thx.
That's a combination of light. The reflection by the knobs is coming from windows that are just off to the side, while the light on the arm-rest area is coming from an overhead light in the room. Then I moved around and around and around until I got the camera in the right spot.

The flame is being mostly being activated by the window. The overhead light is just doing that spotlight.

I'll have to try and see if I can create something similar, I always find I get reflection in glossier areas if there's any direct daylight, that or I end up creating shadow by accidentally positioning myself in-between the guitar and light source.

Eventually I'll find the time once my fingers have fallen off from playing the damn thing! 😂

Awesome guitar!

Hmm I keep getting the photo too large for server thing.. oh well
Me too! Says the file is too large. Mine was 1.92MB. I actually reduced it to that.

What's the actual photo size limit?
