My coworker has these two guitars sitting in his closet. Inherited from his late uncle who played in the 70/80’s.

Can anyone help identify the year of these guitars? The serials are 000634 + 910793. My internet research has been inconclusive and I hear that you guys are the best!

Please share photos of the full headstock clearly showing the serial numbers. Also the inside of the control cavities (large plastic covers on the backs) that are in focus.
Will do. In the meantime, I’ve attached some better quality pictures.

Don't forget to include your address including zipcode, and typical weekly schedule. If there's a gate code that too would help us answer your question.

These look to be early 70s Customs to me. Look for volutes on the back of the necks by the headstock and pancake bodies. A peek into the control cavities could be potentially very useful.

The one with cream plastics could be a bit later (maybe 75-78).

But, pretty hard to make a real judgment based on just these two pics.

Whatever they are, they’re cool!

Edit: actually with those SNs, the cream plastic’d one can’t be a 76-78, so it’s probably no later than an early 75.

The pinkish case looks like an original 50 ies Cali case. Would be worth a buck or two.
