Greg Martin limited run 58!!!(The hank plank)

Well, its looks like it's gonna happen Greg's "hank plank" will be made in a limited 200 run I think. The first 50 will be aged to be exact replica's. here is greg with the first of 2 prototype's

They really have their work cut out to replicate the subtleties of the top on that guitar.

I really like Greg's playing - he's incredible - but I just can't see how this will be distinctive enough to discern it from too many other plaintops?

There are so many others that are distinctive that warrant re-production. How about Paul Kossoff's, Mick Taylor's, Keith Richards Les Paul Custom w/ graphic, Gary Moore's Stripe, Snowy White's Goldie, etc. :2cool

I am sure they will be gobbled up, but I just don't get it. In this case, it is based on what I am sure is a great guitar....but is distinctive looking enough to command the premium? :hmm
